I 'd like to install some Flash tutorial videos on our corporate (private) site. No need for user uploads. I can produce videos in either .flv or .swf format using Adobe (Macromedia) Video Encoder (v.8 - using progressive download)) and Adobe (Macromedia) Flash (v.8).

What is your recommendation on how to stream these files from a node?

The Flash Video module seems like overkill to me. Is there a way to simply put some HTML in a node? What player do I use?

you can use the php input format with HTML to render the player. Though, I think I'd use the swftools.module or the embed_filter.module
